A FILM

Annie Hall
Annie Hall is an American romantic comedy film directed and played by Woody Allen and co-wrote it with Marshall Brickman. It was screened at the Los Angeles Film Festival in March 1977, before its official release on April 20, 1977. They had a budget of 4 million but they won 32 million, so we can said that it was a successful film.

The film stars the director as Alvy Singer, who tries to figure out the reasons for the failure of his relationship with the film's eponymous female lead, played by Diane Keaton in a role written specifically for her.
Principal photography for the film began on May 19, 1976 on the South Fork of Long Island, and filming continued periodically for the next ten months. Allen has described the result, which marked his first collaboration with cinematographer Gordon Willis, as "a major turning point",in that unlike the farces and comedies that were his work to that point, it introduced a new level of seriousness. Academics have noted the contrast in the settings of New York City and Los Angeles, the stereotype of gender differences in sexuality, the presentation of Jewish identity, and the elements of psychoanalysis and modernism.
The film received widespread critical acclaim, and along with winning the Academy Award for Best Picture, it received Oscars in three other categories: two for Allen (Best Director and, with Brickman, Best Original Screenplay), and Best Actress for Keaton. The film additionally won four BAFTA awards and a Golden Globe, the latter being awarded to Keaton. Its North American box office receipts of $38,251,425 are fourth-best of Allen's works when not adjusted for inflation.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest films of all-time, it ranks 31st on AFI's List of the greatest films in American cinema, 4th on their list of greatest comedy films and 28th on Bravo's "100 Funniest Movies". Film critic Roger Ebert called it "just about everyone's favorite Woody Allen movie".The film's screenplay was also named the funniest ever written by the Writers Guild of America in its list of the "101 Funniest Screenplays". In 1992, the United States' Library of Congress selected the film for preservation in its National Film Registry that includes "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" films

A PICTURE

Now, I need to take a picture on the neighbourhood of the school, applying the tips I learnt last term. I decide to take a photo of one of the most beautiful tunnel I have never seen because it's something special Antiguo has. It represents the sea and what will we do without the sea? It's very essential in Antiguo.

I used one of the tips we learnt the last term. As you can see I used leading lines because the lines with light and the street's lines do the effect of leading lines.

I hope you like the photo.

FINAL PRESENTATION

  1. RAVIOLIS STUFFED WITH KRISSIA (Optional: mayonese).
  2. It’s easy to prepare as you have two dishes in one and you don’t have to worry about cooking first and second plate. Apart from that this new formula is healthy and appealing for children.
  3. The weaknesses are that our idea is not very original, neither risky.
  4. We need to do business with pasta companies to make our product, because it isn’t enough with krissia.
  5. The challenge’s aim is to target a young public and we think we have met their expectations introducing our innovative formula which is raviolis stuffed with krissia. We thought that pasta is the most liked food of children, that is why we mixed these two flavours.
  6. We will need machines to make our product because if we do it by hand it will take a lot of time.
  7. Because it is appealing for children and we think that we have reached to the aim of the challenge that was introducing fish to children diet.

VISUAL THINKING

In our 5th session: Monday 3 December, we had a master class in Visual Thinking with Javier De Miguel. We learn about the impact that visual thinking has nowadays, I didn't know it before. I've learnt that colors, lettering or pictures can help us to underline the main idea or the most important information and this is very useful in many ocations, in our krissia project, for example. Here I lend you the example.
