BASIC PHOGRAPHY

The first picture was taken in the Hotel Londres, as you can see, and I took it while people were crossing the zebra crossing. The blurry image give us the impression of movement, addind a point of contrast to it.

The picture with the small deep of field was taken in the mountain and we can see a leaf in the foreground and a tree with a bird's house in the background. Blurring that background I try to concentrate the attention on the leaf, giving an impression of proximity.

European Day Of Languages

The European Day of Languages was full of activities. First, German students came to our English class and we did some speaking together. They were so kind! I can't wait to do an exchange with them.

Then, we joined French class and we did a quiz about European lagunages. We had a lot of fun and my team won.

After that, we did a t-shirt disign for a competition which is based on laguages in audio visual culture class.

Finally, we prepared a game called Pasapalabra which consists in asking questions. We didn't have the chance to do it but it was very well prerared so I lend you some photos about it.

PLANNING THE EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES

There are millions of languages all over the world, although we have never heard about most of them. We don't realize how important are they, but they are essential for our daily life. It's true that nowadays most people know English but the less known languages are part of the culture of each country. But there are some exceptions because countries which had been colonies, had taken the language of the colonising country, such as Madascar which has as first language French.

The 26th of September is the European day of languages and we celebrate it to make us remember that there are more languages than English, Spanish or Chinese.

We are going to do some activities to celebrate it at school:

1- Video: We are going to film some people speaking foreing    languages

2- Game:  It consists in doing words with the body

LETTERING

This time the teacher asked us to do lettering. We had had to write welcome in different languages that are spoken in our school, using different types of hand lettering. I don't usually do lettering but I sometimes use it for titles because I think that it looks more elegant. I'm not very good but I tried to do my best, I hope you like it.

Nowadays, logo's lettering is one of the most important thing of marketing and we can appreciate it every where. Here you have 3 examples

1.                                                                        2.

 3.

-The first picture shows the lettering of a boutique which is near my school. They may have chosen that lettering to make it more elegant because it has expensives brands.
-The second picture's shop is also a shop which is near my school and they may have underlined the name of the shop to attract people.
-As you can see in the last picture, they have chosen a bold lettering because the may want people to see it from faraway.

Mass Media

 MASS MEDIA

The means of communication that reach large numbers of people in a short time, such as television, newspapers, magazines, and radio.

 NEWSPAPERS AND MAGAZINES
The newspaper is one of the mass media most used in my family and we buy more than one newspaper each week. We usually buy "El Diario Vasco" but sometimes my mother also buys "Vogue" or other moda's magazine and my father  buys sports' magazines, usually "Marca".

 TV
We also use TV as mass media and we watch informative programmes, such as "Antena 3 noticias" or "El corazΓ³n".

RADIO
The mass media we use less is the radio, we only listen to the radio in the morning while we are having breakfast and we usually listen to "Radio Euskadi" and I listen to " Los 40 Principales"
